“I couldn’t have chosen
a better place to live.”
Fortunately, she now has the best of both worlds after researching retirement living options in the Southport region and opting for The Henley.
“The final decision came down to the fact that I could bring my two darling girls with me,” she says.
Norma made the move after the demands of a four-bedroom home and a large garden became too burdensome. Located in her preferred Southport region, The Henley quickly won her over.
“I fell in love with the layout of the unit and also the location overlooking the Broadwater,” she says.
Now safely ensconced in her apartment, Norma’s family is also pleased with her choice.
“My two daughters are very pleased that I am happy and content in my new home as they were concerned that I would miss my lovely landscaped garden.”
Playing the piano, sewing, cooking and gardening remain an enjoyable part of Norma’s life at The Henley, and she appreciates the hospitable staff and her sense of space and privacy.
“I enjoy my sewing, caring for my orchids in the lovely sunshine and cooking for the occasional function,” Norma says. “Not a lot has changed.”
Of course, Norma has quick access to nearby shops and restaurants, but most of all she enjoys walking her dogs every morning along the Broadwater Parklands.
“I feel that I have reached happiness to the nth degree.”
